A Guest's Guide to the Hill: What to Expect Staying at Lae Lay Suites

Lae Lay Suites is built across two buildings on a hillside, and it's fair for guests to know upfront what that means day to day. Here's what to expect before you arrive.

No Lift, Some Stairs

There's no lift, and depending on your suite, there may be a flight or two of stairs. In exchange, most rooms get a real view — mountains, tropical hillside, and on a clear evening, the sunset toward Kata Bay.

Getting Used To The Hill

Guests who've stayed with us describe the walk up as tiring for the first day or two and then part of the routine. If mobility is a concern, let us know when you book and we'll place you in one of the more accessible suites.

What's In Every Suite

Every suite includes a kitchenette, so you're not stuck relying on room service for snacks or a late-night coffee. Housekeeping tops up bottled water daily, and the front desk is run family-style, with a small, consistent team — not rotating staff — so they get to know returning guests by name.
