Studio Room

The Studio is Lae Lay Suites' entry-level suite, and it doesn't feel like one. At 36 square metres, it's a genuinely spacious studio -- not a cramped hotel room -- with a king bed, a dedicated dining table, and a private balcony that looks out over Kata Bay. Mornings here mean coffee on the balcony as the light comes up over the hillside; evenings bring the same view turned cinematic, as the sky over the bay goes gold and pink at sunset.

Every Studio is set up for a proper stay, not just an overnight: a fridge, microwave, and tea/coffee maker mean you can keep your own routine, and the dining table gives you somewhere to actually sit and eat rather than balance a plate on the bed. It's a genuinely quiet, apartment-style base -- the kind of room that works as well for a two-week remote-work stay as it does for a weekend.

The Studio occupies the upper floors of the property, reached by stairs rather than a lift, and from there it's a short walk -- or a ride on our complimentary shuttle -- down to both Kata and Karon Beach. Standard occupancy is two guests, with room for a third adult plus one child at maximum.
